  • Researchers found that newborns whose mothers ate fish more than three times a week during pregnancy grew faster in their first years of life, especially when the offspring was female.
  • The findings were published in the journal JAMA Pediatrics. The study involved 26,184 pregnant women in both the United States and Europe. Researchers observed the growth patterns and weights of the children up to age 6.
